Instant Pot NM Pinto Beans

Ingredients (Servings: 10-12)

1 pound New Mexican pinto beans
6 cups chicken broth or vegetable broth
3 Tbsp. Onion, Dehydrated, Minced
2 California bay leaves
2 Tbsp. Mesa Southwest Adobo seasoning
1 tsp. Kosher salt

Steps

Rinse beans and pick out any debris. There is no need to soak!
Add ingredients to your Instant Pot or like appliance. Secure the lid, and turn the valve to SEAL.
Set to PRESSURE COOK on high pressure for 50 minutes for dry beans and 15 minutes for soaked beans.
After 50 minutes, let the pressure naturally release for 15 minutes.
Remove lid and enjoy!
